Anna Thangi (Brother-Sister), which started from 3rd October `11. Perhaps, for the first time a serial in Kannada is completely centered on the sacred relationship of brother & sister. The serial boasts of several firsts to its credit. It has an interesting line-up of star cast. Yesteryear actor, Supreme Hero Shashikumar makes his small screen debut, the serial is being directed by noted film-maker Mahesh Babu, whose is also first foray into television. Mahesh Babu was the man behind such hits as Akash, Arasu and Merevenege. Besides roping in Master Kishen, the child actor-director, who etched his name in the Guinness Book of World Records, the serial will also see noted film music director. somegowda is the village head who is respected by one and all. he is known to be very righteous and disciplined in his life. but his image takes a shady turn when two kids, mutthu and meena along with their mother kumuda come to that village. muttu and meena are somegowda's own kids from! his previous relationship with kumuda. this fact is hidden from the outer world untill now. somegowda's life takes an unimagined turn after his kids come into the village.more importantly the brother - sister relationship is portrayed intensely by these these two kids mutthu and meena.
